Doug Powell came from a woodworking and sailing family in Maryland sailing the Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic coast and the Caribbean. Still, he spent more than a quarter of a century in landlocked Northwest Arkansas before he discovered the smallest, most personal and some say, most elegant, ocean worthy boat on the water.
